Paris's oldest covered market, operating since 1628 in the heart of Le Marais. Under its beautiful iron and glass roof, vendors sell fresh produce alongside food stalls offering Moroccan tajines, Japanese bento, Antillean creole cooking and classic French charcuterie. The communal tables fill up at lunchtime with a wonderfully diverse crowd.
